Well now I’m stuck in the underworld and I don’t know what happens up above me. I have heard rumors how Odysseus poked the Cyclops’ eye out. That made me really happy, he deserved it. A long time ago the entire group of Cyclops helped Zeus with defeating me and they deserved some kind of punishment. I was hoping he could have done something worse than that. When I saw Odysseus I was surprised to see him in the underworld. I wasn’t sure what he needed here and who was he looking for. Then I overheard the conversation that he had with the prophet. I felt bad for him and heard his voice that had fear in it. He asked the prophet many questions and was not acting like himself. I remembered when my parents told me my prophecy. The feeling I was feeling was indescribable. I thought my life will be miserable and there’s nothing I could do about it. That’s when I thought of a plan, I decided to eat all my children so they would not over throw me. As you might have heard that didn’t work. Later I heard how Athena was helping Odysseus and I realized that Zeus was a good father. If I never ate my children and tough them the difference between wrong and right, they would have never hurt me. Odysseus was really smart to think of a plan that helped them beat all the men. But I think he did the wrong thing by killing all the men. Everyone makes mistakes in life I regret for cutting my dad and should have let my parents work everything out by themselves. I learned my lesson and now I’m stuck here in the darkness. Odysseus was too cruel to those men, they asked for forgiveness but he ignored it. The main lesson that I learned from my life and Odysseus’ was to treat others, as you would want to be treated and always think before you do something. Odysseus made many mistakes in the beginning of his journey everything came back to him at the end. Same with me, I over through my father and then Zeus did the same to me.
